Blueblacks Sign Cornerback DC Davis and Wide Receiver Lamar Bellamy

The two All-Pro selections bring championship experience to Kokomo ahead of its inaugural season.

KOKOMO, Ind. — November 1, 2026 — The Kokomo Blueblacks announced today that they have signed cornerback DC Davis and wide receiver Lamar Bellamy for the 2027 season. Both players have earned All-Pro recognition early in their careers and bring the experience of winning multiple championships to a club preparing to compete for a Central Midwest Football League title.

Davis gives Kokomo an All-Pro cornerback to build around in the secondary. On offense, Bellamy joins the Blueblacks after scoring 14 total touchdowns and earning MWUF Offensive Player of the Year honors this past season. He will wear No. 12 for Kokomo.

“I have a lot of respect for DC’s game and for Lamar’s game. I’m excited that both of them chose to come to Kokomo,” said J.R. Robinson, owner of the Blueblacks. “When you’re building a team for its first season, it means something to have a guy in the secondary and another in the receivers’ room who know what it takes to win a championship. That’s the goal here, and I see both of them playing a big part in it.”

Robinson said the club’s commitment to Davis and Bellamy extends beyond what they can contribute in 2027.

“These guys have already accomplished a lot, and they’re still early in their careers,” Robinson said. “Our job is to help DC keep growing as a corner and Lamar keep growing as a receiver. I want each of them to leave here a better player than when he arrived, ready for his opportunity at the next level.”
